Weight Loss basics

What is the basic premise of weight loss?
In simple terms, weight loss occurs when one burns more calories that he/she consumes.
So, one can reduce his/her intake of calories and/or burn more calories via exercises.

The main key to success is determination and will power to adhere to making changes in your diet and continue with the physical exercises.

There are lots of Diets available on the internet.
However, one needs to ascertain if he/she can continue with the same diet for a prolonged period of time. If not, its better to look for a proper change of lifestyle which will have long lasting effect.

Are there any simple ways to lose weight?
I will try and jot down what I have learned and hope it will help the readers. I would encourage folks to put down their experiences so that all of us can learn from it.

To lose weight, one needs to ensure that they:
- Drink more water and be hydrated
- Count your calories intake. Once you start noting down the food eaten, with their calories, you will automatically be able to reject some of the higher calories food
- Include some aerobic exercise
- Include some strength training exercises
- Reduce oil in your diet
- Reduce salt and sugar
- Please refrain from all soda/aerated drinks
- Repeat the above cycle all the time
